Best Friends
This is my kittens when they were younger. The orange cat, Tyga, is about 3 months older than Daisy. When I got Daisy at 7 weeks old Tyga took on a mother roll for her. They are like two peas in a pod. The bad thing about that is if one decides to do something bad, the other follows in their footsteps. They always sleep together for some reason and I think its comforting to have eachother. They have never been apart in almost a year and I'm going to keep it that way

Window Blinds
Yesterday my kitten Daisy decided she wanted to go outside. I dont let any of my cats go outside because I live next to woods and a golf course. I have this irrational fear that they will get eaten or hit with a golfball or stolen. So I have fabric blinds and my kitten got so mad that she started scratching at them to get outside. I was downstairs at the time so I didn't know what she was doing. When I finally make my way upstairs, I see what she has done to my blinds and I'm furious. I looked all around my house to find and punish her, but she was nowhere to be found. When I go back up to my room out of frustration, I look over and Daisy is sticking her head through one of the holes she scratched in my blinds. It was the most adorable thing that I couldn't get mad at her. Except now I have to buy new blinds.

What inspires me to write are my everyday life experiences. I enjoy writing about things that happened that day that I feel are funny, ironic, or interesting. I write mainly on real events that have happened because I don't enjoy fiction as much. I also need to write in a calm environment. I can't write with chaos going on around me, loud music, or anything distracting. When I have to write something in a stressful environment, it is usually poorly written because my mind becomes distracted and I always lost my train of thought. Finally, I prefer to write with one of my kittens on my lap, chair, or in front of me. My kitten, Tyga, sleeps with her head next to my laptop because it blows out hot air. It's always comforting to write with them rather than by myself.

This is my kitten Daisy. She is 7 months old and she is grey with freckles of orange. I rescued her from a shelter in Baltimore City and she has grown up to be the sweetest little thing. She laid with me all day while I did homework and set up my blog. Doing homework with her is better than doing homework alone because she loves to cuddle. I think she fell asleep right after this. Soooo cute.
